Nigerian rapper and former signee of the Marlian's record, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, who's popularly known by his stage name as Mohbad is dead! He died today's evening at the age of 27!
The news of his passing came rather as a shock to his enthusiastic fan base who wasted no time, at the time of publishing this news, to rush to the internet seeking to know if the 'panwo' crooner is still alive.
Confirming the news of his death; rapper, Olamide of YBNL records tweeted via his X account, "Damn! Mohbad!". A similar confirmation was also made on one Ovie's X account handle @#Ovie who also tweeted, "confirmed: Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day!".
Mohbad's death would add to the list of shocking deaths of African rappers recorded in this year alone. Efforts to reach his closest associates so as to ascertain the cause of his death proved abortive at the time of publishing this report.
Until his death, the 27 years old Nigerian rapper had released songs which enjoyed the massive acceptance by his fans; peace, ask about me, kimanjesun and Sabi were some of his top songs.
